
BACKGROUND
Sandy has achieved her LPGA Class A status and has been an active member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division since 1998. Since then, she has participated in more than 500 hours of training through the LPGA National Education Programs I, II, & III.
Sandy's golf career spans over 30 years. During her amateur career, she played in tournaments throughout California, including the California State Amateur at Pebble Beach. She won the Stockton City Women's Championship is 1978 and set course records at the Rancho Murietta WNCGA State Championship and Van Buskirk Golf Club in Stockton.
TEACHING PROGRAMS
Sandy serves as Director of Instruction at Empire Ranch in Folsom, California. She teaches more than 600 students every year, ranging in ability from brand new beginners to advanced golfers. She specializes in private lessons for men, women and juniors. She has been creative in offering not only the series format but includes playing lessons as well.
Sandy also teaches beginner, junior, and advanced classes for the City of Folsom Parks and Recreation Department. Adult classes are geared toward businesswomen who need to combine business and golf. The junior program aptly named ‘Kids Can Do Anything’ involves 3 hour clinics and five day camps. This year she added a one of a kind parent/child clinic to get families playing the game of golf together.
When not teaching private lessons, she teaches LPGA Golf Clinics for Women held throughout the United States.
